AI-powered Solutions, Indispensable in the Automated Car Era

On July 9th, Streamax Technology 2021 Asia-Pacific Summit was held online. Thanks to all the presenters and staff, the summit was a complete success.

Kevin Liu, General Manager of Streamax Overseas Marketing Center, gave an opening speech at the beginning and warmed up the summit, followed by an introduction video of the factory and testing center. Yuqing and Elshat from Streamax gave a virtual tour of the new showroom to the audience and presented some of the latest solutions, products, and key functions.

The first keynote presenter Mr.Koji, Consultant for the Japan Region of Streamax, gave a speech of his perspective of the technical trend of commercial vehicle transportation safety in Japan. Even if automated cars are mass-produced, while mixed traffic continues, accidents would often occur as long as the traffic exists; therefore, an AI-drive recorder is indispensable in the automated car era. And Streamax's solutions for road risks and other traffic issues are already mature. These AI and Video Telematics Technology-based solutions are dedicated to preventing accidents before they happen and save video evidence after accidents.

Next, Jerry Li, Marketing Director of the Trucking Industry of Streamax Technology, introduced Streamax's s Truck Video Security Solution to the audience by using different driving scenarios. Targeting various driving circumstances, Streamax has provided key functions such as AI Risks Detection, Blind Spot Detection, and Cargo Monitoring. Streamax's trucking solution improves driving and cargo safety through the application of IoT and machine vision.

Additionally, Senior Business Development Manager of the South Pacific Region of Streamax, Raymond, shared the Full AI-based One-stop Public Transportation Solution of Streamax. In accordance with the complex public transport situation, Streamax has launched various solutions to help bus companies with safe driving. Aiming at road risks during driving, the active safety solution can prevent traffic accidents in advance by monitoring the surrounding environment of the bus and the driver's driving behavior. The Passenger Counting Solution can monitor the passenger flow in different periods and regions for optimized management and dispatchment.

Last but not least, Ives Li, Marketing Director of the Taxi Industry of Streamax Technology, talked about some contradictions that exist in society. Targeting the pain points for taxi companies, relative management departments, drivers, and passengers in the taxi industry, Streamax provides solutions such as smart meters, smart fare calculation, inside view monitoring, advertising system, etc. This industry solution has received great responses in Dubai and Turkey.

To end the conference on a high note, a lucky draw was also conducted at the end of the summit, to serve as a token of gratitude for all the guests' participation and support.
