Indonesian public transportation had been troubled by several long-standing problems related to bus operation: frequent improper driving behavior of drivers; fare cheating by the conductor; inefficient bus dispatch, and limited buses that can barely meet passengers' demands.

To solve the issues, in the early 2020, a massive project was launched to support Indonesian public transportation across medium and small cities. Thanks to our rich experiences, Streamax applied its integrated bus solution to more than 300 buses. The solution consisted of A5 MDVR, passenger counter (P2), active safety solution, and video monitoring system using the dome camera to support bus operation, control, efficiency, and compliance. To successfully implement the project, Streamax also cooperated with reliable and powerful local distributor and system integrator.

Since our devices could recognize poor driving behavior and send out alarms accordingly, driving behavior of local drivers was significantly improved. Local bus companies enhanced bus dispatch and satisfied passengers' travel demands thanks to the accurate and timely passenger flow data from the passenger counter. Besides, bus operation costs were reduced and fare cheating was eradicated because no conductor was required anymore.
